grammar
I had this blog reviewed by a magazine editor recently; he said he
did not think it was "grammatically rigorous enough". Then he signed
off with "surry"!
I wonder if it is a question of tastes. Editors can be quite fussy
about the voice underneath the prose. Rather than say "I don't like
what you say, or I don't like how you say things", did he choose
to hide behind grammar?
Nevertheless, the feedback is much-appreciated: I will pay more
attention to my grammar. Please comment or drop me a line if you
think the editor has a point.
